Hip Hop Choreography
Hip Hop is an energetic way to learn new hip moves and have fun at the same time. At this level students learn the style and feel of hip hop dance. Each class period includes a quick warm up and then moves into combinations of dance movement. Students are taught to remember basic steps up to full 16-8 count combinations. Hip Hop practices take place once a week for 55 minutes and culminate with a recital in May. The program is sponsored through a Performing Arts Program grant. The only fee to parents is a one time yearly fee for the recital.
