Academics
Academic Program
St. Joan of Arc Catholic School educates approximately 500 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten-3 through eighth using the Diocese of Palm Beach Curriculum. Instruction at St. Joan of Arc places strong emphasis on the individual child. The curriculum addresses intellectual, social, physical, spiritual, and personal development. In order to attain this goal, a system exists which provides for continuous progress that encourages each child to reach his/her potential. Our traditional standards of behavior, dress, discipline, and classroom conduct provide an environment that is highly conducive to learning.
The school is divided into two parts: (PK3-5) provides developmental skills and activities; fosters self-esteem, study and organizational skills; the junior high (6-8) follows a departmentalized schedule which addresses Christian character education and making choices according to the teachings of the Catholic Church while preparing students for the academic challenges of high school.
St. Joan of Arc Catholic School is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference, the accrediting agency for all Catholic schools throughout Florida. St. Joan of Arc is the only STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) certified school in the Diocese of Palm Beach.

St. Joan’s Spanish Program benefits both Heritage speakers and the non-native Spanish speakers: smaller classes and more individualized instruction tailored to the student’s current Spanish acquisition level.
