PRAYING FOR PEACE

The faithful of the Diocese of Palm Beach are invited to join Bishop Manuel on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church (345 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415) for a special Holy Hour for Peace. This Holy Hour will also be livestreamed on the Diocese of Palm Beach’s Facebook page (@DiocesePalmBeach).
Following the Holy Hour, all are invited to unite with Pope Leo XIV in a Prayer Vigil for Peace, which will take place at St. Peter’s Basilica at 12:00pm (6:00pm Rome time). The vigil will also be livestreamed on the Diocese of Palm Beach’s Facebook page (@DiocesePalmBeach). Those present may remain with Bishop Manuel, joining in communion with Pope Leo XIV and the faithful around the world as they follow the live transmission from Rome.

Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez
We rejoice as one parish family in thanksgiving to God for the ordination and installation of our new shepherd, Bishop Manuel de Jesus Rodriguez, as Bishop of the Diocese of Palm Beach. With hearts full of gratitude and hope, we celebrate this beautiful moment in the life of the Church and in the life of our local diocese.
Through the laying on of hands and the grace of the Holy Spirit, our Holy Mother Church has entrusted to him the care of souls in the Diocese of Palm Beach. We give thanks for his generous yes to the Lord and for his willingness to serve Christ and His people with faith and love.
As a parish community, we joyfully pledge our prayers, our support, and our collaboration. We will be happy to minister under his leadership and spiritual guidance, walking together in unity as disciples of Jesus Christ. May the Lord strengthen him with wisdom, courage, and charity as he shepherds us in truth and holiness.
Let us commend Bishop Rodriguez to the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, that she may intercede for him and for our entire diocesan family. May God bless our new bishop and the Diocese of Palm Beach.
