STATEMENT ON THE TRAGIC
SHOOTING IN MINNEAPOLIS
The Diocese of Palm Beach is deeply saddened by today’s tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis during an all-school Mass.
While there is no known threat to our schools, we continue to work closely with our school administrators, law enforcement and safety experts as we maintain our commitment to the well-being of our campuses.
Each school has safety procedures in place and will continue to utilize these strategies and protocols. The schools within our diocese also conduct safety drills and have Emergency Operation Plans in place should a situation occur.
Please join with us in prayer for the victims, families and all involved in this tragedy.
