WELCOME to St. Joan of Arc Catholic School
At St. Joan of Arc School, we emphasize our Catholic Identity and at the same time
we strive for academic excellence.
St. Joan of Arc School was established in 1960 by St. Joan of Arc Parish. We are located in central Boca Raton, Florida serving over 500 students in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth. Our school operates under the Diocese of Palm Beach and follows its curriculum.
St. Joan of Arc is a U.S. Department of Education “No Child Left Behind” (NCLB) Blue Ribbon School of Academic Excellence. This prestigious award recognizes schools for academic achievement and performance. For more information on NCLB, visit the Department of Education website at www.ed.gov.
As of November 16th, 2018, St. Joan of Arc Catholic School is proud to be one of 6
Florida Catholic Conference STREAM schools (out of over 200 Catholic Schools in Florida)!
St. Joan of Arc School is the only Diocese of Palm Beach STREAM certified school.
This process was quite challenging as the school had to meet and prove rigorous teaching standards and techniques involving: authentic real world application of technology, cross-curricular lessons, station rotations, student choice(i.e. choice boards), project-based learning, essential questions requiring critical thinking, and differentiated learning driven by data.
We invite you to learn more about our school and church through this site and encourage you to contact us to schedule a visit (561-392-7974).
We’re ready for you! Come visit our school campus…
We have many ways for you to visit and experience
all that St. Joan of Arc Catholic School has to offer.
St. Joan of Arc #1 at Cardinal Gibbons Brain Brawl
For a 3rd year in-a-row St. Joan of Arc Catholic School wins FIRST PLACE at Cardinal Gibbons Brain Brawl, as 8th graders from numerous area private and Catholic schools competed in this event! Congratulations on all the great accomplishments!
We are so proud of our St. Joan of Arc School students!
At our Lady of Mercy Mass, we recognized the students who scored high for the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP). The 7th Grade Duke Tip Talent Search identifies academically talented students. In order to participate, students scored in the 95th percentile or higher on qualifying sections of the IOWA Assessment in their 5th or 6th grade years. These students then have the opportunity to take the SAT or ACT as middle school students. This year, SJA had 27 eligible for the Duke Tip program. That’s 43% of students in the current 7th grade class! Congratulations to these talented students!
