St. Joan of Arc School goes Pink!

St. Joan of Arc sponsored a very special dress down event on October 21 by asking all staff and students to “Go Pink’ and to donate their dress down money to the American Cancer Society.
Led by Msgr. McGraw and by Grade 7B teacher Mrs. Beth Monarch, a breast cancer survivor herself, St. Joan was able to raise an amazing $1,006.23 which was presented to Audra Cardillo, the ACS Community Representative.  St. Joan also honored the school moms who have beaten breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and lymphoma.  These moms participated in the presentation with their children who all agreed to “Go Pink” for a very worthwhile cause.
