DIVORCECARE & DIVORCECARE FOR KIDS GROUPS

DivorceCare provides support for people who are separated or divorced and explores ways to help
heal the hurt. DivorceCare for Kids (Ages 5-12) will help minimize and eliminate the short and longterm negative effects of divorce and provides the opportunity for hope and restoration in their lives.
The groups hold several 13 weeks sessions during the year on Wednesday evenings in Conf. Room
C, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Call for registration & current schedule.

FRESH START (PRISON MINISTRY)

This group works with selected individuals released from prison to help them readjust and become a
contributing member of society.

Brings the Church to those who are no longer able to attend Mass. Volunteers visit and extend
helping hands in friendship and prayer to our lonely elderly and infirm parishioners. Trained and
committed men and women bring the Holy Eucharist to the homebound and hospitalized members
of our parish.

A spiritual weekend program for widowed men and women to help them resolve the normal grief
they feel and to begin to live again. Participants gather to view videos, reflect, share, and support
one another in the healing process. Call for information on the next weekend.

Join this ministry to knit and crochet hats for people in need; preemies, kids with cancer, armed
forces. We meet at the Family/Spiritual Life House, Thursdays.

RESTORATION MINISTRY

Project days are planned during the year to help people who are not able to make or pay for minor
repairs and upkeep of their homes. This will give them better quality of life and restore the safety
features of the homes they live in.
